Various foot conditions can be helped with orthotics. Below is a list of the foot conditions with realistic foot expectations.

Heel Pain

Heel Pain also know as plantar fasciitis and heel spur syndrome is a very common source of foot pain.  Pain can progress down the arch along the plantar fascia. Orthotics help to relieve the tension on the plantar fascia and the biomechanics causing the inflammation.

Back Pain

Back Pain is one of the most common ailments in the world.  Orthotics stabilize the the feet which can help relieve stress and strain on the back. The feet directly control the alignment of our legs during the gait cycle, excessively rotating legs can destabilize the back causing back pain.

Arthritis

Arthritis or osteoarthritis in the feet can be caused by different conditions. When the bones of the feet are not aligned correctly when walking the joints of the feet endure stress and can lead to bone spur formation.  Orthotics help align the feet in the most appropriate manner reducing these stresses. 

Tendonitis

Tendonitis of the feet and ankles can be caused by unstable feet, causing the tendons and muscles to work out of their normal means.  When these stresses occur, tendons can be come inflamed and painful.  Orthotics help to stabilize the stresses on the tendons.

Bunions and Hammertoes

Bunions and Hammertoes are deformities of the toes and the bones adjacent to the toes.  While no orthotic will cure hammertoes or bunions, orthotics can reduce the slow progressive changes that occur and limit arthritic changes that occur with each of the deformities.
